Social Media Business Forum and One Liners
Posted by Anjanette Wiley
I had the opportunity to volunteer at the Social Media Business Forum in Durham, NC. I feel very lucky to have been a part of it; there were social media rock stars in attendance. I met several people I’ve been following on Twitter and blogs so it was cool to see beyond their thumbnail shot.
I worked the registration desk which was great because I got to register several of these Who’s Who. Along with @mbagrrl, we were checking people in and giving the speakers a special speaker t- shirt. @mbagrrl was a lot smarter than me and looked on the list to see if they were a speaker; my eyes don’t naturally travel along an excel spread sheet. I guess that’s why she has a MBA and I don’t!

The most important things in video are the tripod and wireless mic.@dgtlpapercuts (me:Amen!)
It reminded me of being in the video world way back in the day. Everyone was a little eccentric in a really fun, off beat, productive and smart way. That is the kind of energy I enjoy.
