Citizen’s Alert!

Problem: You’re walking in your neighborhood and there is a bush that is so overgrown, you have to step in to the street to get by it.

Solution: Enter SeeClickFix!  You open your SeeClickFix app, take a picture and hit send. A  city staffer receives it via email and takes it from there.

SeeClickFix just went into effect on Jan. 10, 2011 but you can already see several reports that citizens have made. You can see the reported issues and are given options such as: Vote to Fix!, Follow the issue, Add a comment, and Add a photo.

I think following your report to completion and contributing to the community is best part but you can also earn civic points by being a chronic reporter. I have no idea what the points are used for.

I have downloaded this app and will be looking for non emergency issues to report in my neighborhood!
